Department of Oral medicine

The Department of Oral Medicine at NMDC specializes in the diagnosis, prevention, and non-surgical management of diseases and disorders affecting the oral cavity and associated structures through quality education, research, and patient care. With experienced faculty and modern facilities, we train students to develop essential clinical skills for identifying and managing a wide range of oral health conditions while promoting compassionate and patient-centered care.

The department provides clinical training in the diagnosis and management of oral mucosal diseases, oral ulcers, infections, salivary gland disorders, oral manifestations of systemic diseases, and other oral health conditions. Students are encouraged to develop sound clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between oral and systemic health.

Our goal is to promote excellence in Oral Medicine education, research, and clinical practice, offering comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services to our patients while facilitating students in becoming skilled, confident, and well-rounded dental professionals.
